Property Law Aspects of Tokenisation
Symposium June 1st
Where and why property law is not tailored to the blockchain?
About the event
This is a symposium brought to you by the 2Tokens Foundation and the University of Groningen with support from ecosystem partners.
We have invited distinguished legal experts and tokenisation professionals to come together at the Haagse Hogeschool during the symposium to explore the complexities of property law as it pertains to tokenisation.
As a participant, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and you will be invited to participate in the discussion.
Discussion
We will open with a general part in which keynote speakers will give an introduction to the role tokenisation has to play in our economy and its relation to property law.
In the second part, we will have five rounds of different discussions on property law related to various use cases including shares/equity, energy, movable property, securities, and collectibles. In each case an experienced practitioner will present a tokenisation initiative, after which a legal expert will analyse which property law issues can be expected and the possibilities to solve these issues.
