2bsmart launches the Smartys platform to simulate tokenization
Blockchain start-up 2bsmart from Tilburg has launched the next version of its smart contracts simulation platform called ‘Smartys’. With this platform users can experiment with tokens in business processes. Various new technologies like blockchain, smart contracts on Ethereum, IPFS and sensors are built into the Smartys application. One of the 2 founders, Jeroen Perquin told us:
“We have built Smartys because many people talk about blockchain, smart contracts and tokens, but only a few people get the chance to really work and experiment with it. We have built a supply chain process in Smartys where tokens are used to settle between different parties during and after a conditioned transport. All fully automated, using sensor data and smart contracts. In a role play the participants initiate and execute business transactions on the blockchain. This way we convert the concept of tokenization into a practical experience. For participants it is a great interactive learning experience and a good starting point to think about how tokens can be used to optimize business processes”.
Smartys is used in education at several universities in the Netherlands, and in business workshops. The Smartys platform is also very suitable to build a proof of concept on, especially when using smart contracts and tokens. If you want more information, have a look at www.2bsmart.eu.
